The Ardrossan Bisons have been affectionately dubbed “The Little School That Could”  by the local press, referring to their usual Tier IV small school status.  Even so, from the school’s small student population comes a select group of talented and well-coached players to create a team that cuts it’s teeth on competition within the Edmonton Metro League against Tier I, II and III schools.

The Ardrossan Bison Football Program has been instrumental in producing skills and nurturing natural talent. The program also supports players that wish to go onto higher levels of play.  Many Bisons play junior ball (Edmonton Huskies or Edmonton Wildcats) while others play at the college level (for various universities across Canada and in the US). Some players even advance to the professional level.
